چکیده
Abstract Objectives Postpartum mothers with gestational diabetes may remain either type 2 mellitus, impaired glucose tolerance or fasting glucose. Our aim in this study was to identify maternal variables that could predict 1 more of these conditions. Methods In 193 singleton pregnancies diabetes, we applied bivariate logistic regression and receiver-operating characteristic curves data from the index glucose-challenge test allowed diagnosis diabetes. Results Receiver-operating predicted mellitus combined, a sensitivity 100%, false-positive rate 40.5%, area under curve 0.849, p=0.004 positive predictive value 45%, cutoff point 4.7 mmol/L. Conclusions At time during pregnancy, basal level ≥4.7 mmol/L on indicates 45% probability impending early postpartum.
